Great Idea ! Let's recruit bus drivers from Poland

...and what do you think will happen next ? This story from the United Press Web-Site ABERDEEN, Scotland, May 11 (UPI) -- Passengers on a Scottish bus say the driver, a recent immigrant from Poland, got lost while traveling between Aberdeen and Inverness. They described the driver as having to look at a map and ask a passenger which way to go. Passengers also described him as seeming confused by a busy main road. Lesley Tock told The Scotsman that her husband, Colin, called her from his cell phone to complain that the driver appeared "totally lost." She said the head of Stagecoach Bluebird, the bus's operator, should "hang his head in shame." But the company defended the driver, saying that while new to the area and the route, he did have a general idea of where he was going. "At no point did he have to refer to a map," spokesman Steve Stewart said. "He talked to a passenger to reassure himself he was on the right route, in the same way that anyone who was unfamiliar with any journey would clarify directions." The driver was one of 44 recruited in Poland by the company.
